Account Rep/Inside Sales


Responsible for driving new business sales initiatives and pipeline activity, while providing support to the outside sales team. Will devise and deliver on sales activity plans including high outbound call rates as well as driving partner engagement, territory, and strategic planning. Ideal candidate will be detailed orientated, display a “customer first” mentality, and will effectively work cross-functionally within the organization to ensure the needs and expectations of the customer are met.

Primary Responsibilities

¨ Meet and exceed sales targets by maximizing market share and profits

¨ Drive client engagement and manage customer relations

¨ Demonstrate ability to the adapt to ever changing market expectations and objectives

¨ Ability to multi-task and produce a detailed and accurate body of work

¨ Exhibit a servant attitude and belief of providing excellent customer service

¨ Effectively demonstrate product knowledge, understanding of customer expectations, and development of customer relationships

¨ Support outside sales network to ensure market(s) goals and objectives are met

¨ Provide clear and concise updates to management regarding market/customer conditions, as required

¨ Cultivate business prospects through the lead generation process – starting with initial contact, lead nurturing and lead qualification

¨ Build relationships with relevant industry organizations i.e. suppliers, customers, manufactures of complimentary products

¨ Able to adapt to shifting markets, customers and innovation

¨ Prepare and present monthly sales reports

¨ Process customer material returns to ensure proper credit/exchange is handled

¨ Prepare commission statements for agents: send to accounting for approval and payment

¨ Forecasting: Assist Sales in gathering/updating/maintaining forecast from customers
