Warehouse Rigger


  • Fabricate and inspect wire rope and rigging related assemblies (Includes pressing, testing, etc.) Training provided.
  • Measure and cut running lengths of wire rope.
  • Receipt and stocking of incoming orders.
  • Packaging and shipment of outgoing products.
  • Travel to customer locations to complete rigging inspections in customer’s facility.
  • Daily return of tools to proper locations / weekly shop cleaning / property maintenance and cleaning.
  • Responsible for ensuring all received goods are correct and all out going goods are shipped correctly and on time.  This is to be done in conjunction with and under the direct supervision of the Warehouse Production Manager.
  • Responsible to work with other warehouse personnel for keeping a timely and efficient production schedule in conjunction with the Warehouse Production Manager.
  • Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
  • Marks materials with identifying information.
  • Opens bales, crates, and other containers.
  • Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
  • Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
  • Accompanies Outside Inspection Supervisor to offsite jobsite to perform rigging inspections.  (Overnights required in some instances)
